Our year 10 GCSE business class are taking part in the Young Enterprise Project where they have set up their own business selling wellbeing booklets and hampers. The group has experienced tremendous success already, winning prizes at each of the two events they have participated at.
Some members of the team were invited to PricewaterhouseCoopers where they delivered a 5 minute presentation to a set of dragons who comprised of various directors from PWC. They competed against 16 other schools and colleges and were awarded the winners!
There girls were FANTASTIC during their presentation, they spoke so confidently and were able to answer all the questions the Dragons threw at them with great ease. The directors commented that our girls were one of the best teams they had seen praising them on their engagement and charisma.
In December the Young Enterprise team went to the Christmas markets to sell their Wellbeing products. There were 30 teams from a range of colleges and High schools competing at the market. The event was being judged by staff from KMPG and Young Enterprise.
