National Careers Week 2019 ( Published: 09/03/2019)

As part of the school’s Careers provision, Levenshulme High celebrated National Careers Week from 4th-8th March.

National Career week aims to promote the importance of good careers education in schools and colleges. The week in school was celebrated by inviting inspiring Women in STEAM which gave our girls some exciting opportunities to participate in different careers talks in assemblies, workshops and lunch time sessions to heighten their awareness of a variety of career fields and helping them make an informed decision in future.

The week was rounded off by a charity bake sale for The Brain Tumour Charity which was organised by the Career and STEM leaders in school.

A big shout out to all our external partners who supported our National Careers week in school.

National careers week is a fantastic opportunity to get your students and staff involved in promoting good career education which helps us meet the Gatsby benchmarks.
