We’d like to wish you a safe and restful break over the February half term holiday. Please see our end of term letter (and video update!) to learn more about what's been going on at our school over the past few weeks.
Year 9 and 10 students have had incredible success in the UKMT Intermediate Mathematical Challenge, earning nationally recognised awards for their problem solving and logic skills.
We are hosting our annual Iftar event on the 5th of March 2026. During this celebration, we will also be fundraising for our 2026 School Prom.
Our Year 10 Future Me Leaders were selected to take part in the Digital Defenders Challenge, organised by StateTalking and Callsign.
From the 3rd - 5th February 2026, our school stage was transformed for this year’s spectacular production of The Addams Family (Young@Part), and what a run it was!

I joined Levenshulme High School in January 2026 and I can tell you that it is a delight and privilege to lead this prestigious, high-achieving and deeply caring organisation.

GMET is a relatively new Trust working across Greater Manchester including Alexandra Park Primary School, Levenshulme High School, Parrs Wood High School, The East Manchester Academy and Whalley Range 11-18 High School. Together, we create lives of opportunity for over 6000 students (ranging from age 4 to 18), and over 600 staff, striving for excellence in everything we do.
