Welcome from the Headteacher

It is a great privilege to be the Headteacher of Levenshulme High School and to welcome you to our website. Levenshulme High School is an Outstanding school which is a truly multicultural and diverse community of learners, staff and families – underpinned by our Co-operative values. As such, we are proud holders of the International Values-based Education Trust’s Quality Mark – which recognises the impact of the school’s culture, ethos and values on the achievement and wellbeing of the young women in our care.

We are part of the Education and Leadership Trust, which is a small multi-academy trust comprised of ourselves and 2 other Manchester high schools – Whalley Range 11-18 High School and The East Manchester Academy.

This is an ambitious school which sets high expectations of staff and students alike, challenging and supporting everyone to be the best that they can be so that, by working hard together, we can achieve our dreams.

The progress that students make throughout their time at Levenshulme is outstanding and is testament to the commitment and dedication of both students and staff. Student leadership is a driving force within the school, and our young women are acquiring the skills and confidence to take their place in 21st century society and careers. The school enjoys excellent facilities and grounds and we would be delighted to welcome you and show you round.
