Parent/Carer Forum with the Neurodiversity in Education Project ( Published: 15/01/2025)
- When: Friday 31st January 2025, 1.30 – 2.45pm
- Where: The Energy Box (stadium), at Levenshulme High School
Are you a parent or carer of a child who has received an official diagnosis of neurodiversity*? Are you, like many others, waiting for a formal diagnosis, or do you simply suspect that your child may be neurodiverse and are wondering about your next steps? If so, come and join us on Friday 31st January 2025 for a forum in coordination with the Neurodiversity in Education Project. Grab a snack and a brew, and chat with others about the support that is available to you and your child. Share your experiences of what’s working well, and perhaps what isn’t, and join a Manchester-wide network of support and advice.
There is no need to sign up – simply head to the Energy Box reception at 1.30pm, where a member of staff will take you to the meeting room. The session will end at 2.45pm, giving you plenty of time to be ready for pickup at the school gate. We look forward to seeing you there!
*Neurodivergence is an umbrella term for anyone with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), autism, Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD or dyspraxia), Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), dyslexia, learning disability, Tourette’s Syndrome, and any other conditions/differences that are not considered ‘neurotypical’.
