Safer Internet Day 2019 ( Published: 04/02/2019)

Safer Internet Day is on Tuesday 5th February and this year’s theme is ‘together for a better internet’.

Safer Internet Day is celebrated globally in February each year to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology for children and young people and inspire a national conversation. As usual, Levenshulme High School will be celebrating and promoting this with our young people.

Safer Internet Day is a really important day for re-emphasizing how to stay safe online. At LHS all Computing lessons will include activities that reminds pupils of how to stay safe, whilst promoting the positive uses of digital technology. Our Digital Leaders will be running a drop in session where pupils can come in for advice or take a leaflet that gives instructions of how to use the security settings in all popular social media apps.
