Sports Personality of the Year Awards Celebration ( Published: 10/07/2026)
The event brought together 95 students and featured a special guest appearance from former professional footballer, Danielle Taylor Gibbons, who delivered an inspirational talk about her journey in professional football and the challenges she overcame to achieve success.
The afternoon was a wonderful celebration of sport, determination, and achievement. More than 100 badges, trophies, certificates, and medals were awarded to students in recognition of their hard work, commitment, and sporting success throughout the year.
One of the most anticipated moments of the event was the presentation of our prestigious Sports Personality of the Year Award. This award recognises students who have made a significant contribution to the school’s sporting community. Through their enthusiasm, dedication and inclusive approach, these students have inspired others and helped to promote the positive spirit of sport across Levenshulme High School.
