It’s World Book Day on Thursday 7th March 2019 and we’re looking forward to a fun day packed full of activities and competitions.
Everybody loves World Book Day, the international celebration of all that’s great about reading. This year, we’re adopting a circus theme and holding a book-themed extravaganza, ‘The Greatest Book Show’ in the hall at lunchtime. With literary scenes performed by drama students, games, competitions a book swap and even book-themed henna, there’ll be something for everyone.
World Book Day is the perfect chance to celebrate the love of reading that runs through life at Levenshulme. This year will offer bookish fun for students across all year groups, with plenty of opportunities to win prizes, inspire one another and share the joy of reading for pleasure.
