Year 10 Work Experience Programme ( Published: 19/05/2026)

Our Year 10 students recently took part in an exciting and successful work experience programme, gaining valuable insight into a wide variety of career sectors. Placements ranged from primary schools and childcare settings to accounting firms, law practices, pharmacies, healthcare environments, office-based roles, and the retail sector.

We received extremely positive feedback from employers, who praised students for their enthusiasm, professionalism, and willingness to learn. Many highlighted how confidently students adapted to new environments and made meaningful contributions to their workplaces.

This experience provided a fantastic opportunity for students to develop essential employability skills, including communication, teamwork, and organisation. It also encouraged them to step outside their comfort zones by meeting new people and working in unfamiliar settings.
