From School to Pharmacy and Beyond: An Alumnae Journey ( Published: 23/02/2026)
As she walked through the corridors again, she reflected fondly on her time at Levenshulme High School. She spoke about the friendships she made, the teachers who believed in her, and the moments that shaped her future. Like many young people, she had to juggle schoolwork with everything else life brought her way, but her interest in pharmacy kept her motivated and focused.
During her visit, she also joined one of our Year 11 Urdu classes, where she offered thoughtful advice about preparing for GCSEs. She shared her own experiences, tips on staying organised, and how to keep your eyes on your end goal – even when things feel challenging. Students appreciated her practical tips, especially knowing she had once been in their shoes.
Today, she’s settled in Germany with her family, juggling motherhood and her professional aspirations. She’s taking a break right now, focusing on her family and adapting to a new culture, including picking up the German language. She talked about learning the German language and how speaking more than one language can open so many doors in today’s world – socially, academically, and professionally.
Listening to her story was a reminder that journeys don’t always follow a straight line but with resilience, support, and belief in yourself, you can achieve amazing things.
We are incredibly proud of everything she has achieved, and we can’t wait to see where her journey leads next.
