NHS Careers Event at Hotel Football ( Published: 13/03/2026)
Ten of our Year 10 students attended the NHS Careers Event at Hotel Football in partnership with the Manchester United Foundation, diving into a wide range of exciting pathways within Healthcare Science.
From hands on sessions in:
- Clinical Bioinformatics
- Life Sciences
- Physiological Sciences
- Physical Sciences & Biomedical Engineering
Students also gained real insight into how science supports patient care and diagnosis.
They also developed key skills including:
- Problem solving
- Teamwork & communication
- Technical & practical lab skills
- Critical thinking
- Awareness of real-world healthcare roles
