Celebrating Outstanding Attendance at Levenshulme High School ( Published: 09/02/2026)
Our students continue to demonstrate dedication, positive routines and a clear commitment to their learning, this is reflected in the very high attendance across the school.
To mark this collective achievement, we are delighted to have been awarded a whole school attendance certificate from Manchester City Council for Term 1. This celebration recognises the ongoing effort of all students. Being in school every day helps create the calm, purposeful environment we value so highly. The attendance of our students is a true credit to them and to the families and staff who help them succeed.
Good attendance is central to academic achievement, the graph below shows data from last year’s Year 11 cohort. This clearly illustrates the link between attendance and GCSE grades:
Looking ahead, we remain ambitious. Our whole school target is 97%, and we are determined to reach it. With continued focus on daily routines, strong communication and the shared belief that every day matters, we are confident that our attendance can climb even higher.
Congratulations to all our students for their fantastic efforts so far. We are incredibly proud of what has been achieved and excited for what lies ahead.
