Year 8 Cooking Club Leaders

This term, we have been incredibly proud to see our Year 8 students take on the responsibility of teaching our Year 7s in Cooking Club.

Throughout the weeks, the Year 8s have demonstrated outstanding leadership, patience, and maturity as they guided the younger students through a range of recipes and essential kitchen skills. They have shown confidence in explaining techniques, modelling safe food preparation, and supporting others to succeed. The progress made by both year groups has been wonderful to witness, and the enthusiasm and teamwork displayed each week has made the club a real highlight of the term. We are extremely proud of the Year 8 students’ achievements and the positive example they have set.

Year 10 Photography

Our Year 10 students have produced some truly impressive creative work this term, designing and building their own scape models before capturing them through photography.

They have demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and originality, carefully constructing miniature environments and then experimenting with a range of photographic techniques to bring them to life.

By exploring different lighting effects, thoughtful framing, varied camera angles, and depth of field, they have transformed simple models into striking, atmospheric images. We are incredibly proud of their creativity, technical skill, and the confidence they have shown in developing and presenting their ideas.
