Digital Ambassador Training ( Published: 24/02/2026)
Students explored digital safeguarding with a particular focus on understanding and addressing cyberbullying.
During the session, students took part in a powerful activity designed to illustrate the lasting impact of hurtful words. They were asked to direct negative comments towards a sheet of paper. After making a hurtful comment, the paper was scrunched up; although it was later smoothed out following an apology, it could not return to its original condition. This helped students understand that, even when apologies are made, the effects of bullying can remain.
The programme aims to empower pupils to promote safer online behaviours and to support their peers by addressing online safety concerns from a young person’s perspective. Students will now begin planning a school-based anti-bullying initiative, and will identify the intended outcomes of their project.
Students will have several months to develop, organise and implement their chosen initiative within the school. Their role of Digital Ambassador will stay with them throughout their time at Levenshulme High School.
