Youth Travel Ambassadors Walk It Again ( Published: 30/03/2023)

On 10th March 2023, after months of planning and research, our school’s active transport representatives, the Youth Travel Ambassadors, presented their vision for active travel to a panel of judges.

With the help of their mentor, Kelly Leat from Transport for Greater Manchester, the ambassadors put together a pitch the judges could not refuse, with powerful messages for the audience to choose from to use as their final slogan: “Ecomotive, pointing at the right direction”.

The student ambassadors have created plans to start walking bus routes to school, to encourage more students to travel in active ways. More information will be shared on this initiative in the coming weeks.
